| | About Us History The Team Photo Gallery Contact Us | | TrackTactics (TT) is a non-profit organization promoting the safety of riding motorcycles. We believe in taking riders to the track to learn and become more aware of the hazards and obstacles on the streets. We hope to change and lower the current rise in motorcycle accidents and fatalities one trackday at a time. It all started in Oahu, Hawaii in April 2006 shortly after the only road track on the island was closed due to greedy landowners who could sell the property for lucrative commercial development. With no safe riding environment available, we took the 599 square miles the island had to offer and used the street as a track. Soon, sections of highway such as Ewa Beach Cutoff, Sear’s Turn, Pali Highway, 13 turns, Norfolk, Snake Road, and the “Circuit” came define the track on the streets. Since there was no way to get a ‘lap time” we used each other to gauge riding improvement. A pass on the inside was considered a win... Within a short period of time, the 3 turned to 5, which turned to 10, and 20+. From day one, our philosophy was performance first, the philosophy grew exponentially to our fellow members. Within a year’s time our reputation was know throughout the island. One factor in our success was how we took care of each other. Ohana or “Family” came be to a defining attitude amongst our ranks. In fall 2007, two members moved from Hawaii up to California and started riding here. To our surprise there was no real feeling of Ohana among the people like in Hawaii, so we decided to start up the SoCal group to get this feeling that we were missing. After a while we realized that the canyons of California are not a safe playground. Under the beauty of the canyons lies a deceiving danger that can instantly make a fun ride tragic. We realized that if we continue to ride in the canyons we are playing a game where the odds are against us. This is when TrackTactics came to reality. Our idea is to get people of the canyons and on to the track. TrackTactics also is here to provide you with all the information, and connections to help you get to the track. We have gathered people at our old bike nights in Murrieta, and later in Lake Elsinore. We currently have the support from local bike stores, performance parts dealers and Motorcycle clubs. We are not a motorcycle club, and will never be one. We are and always will be a group of friends, that love racing at the track together. We are constantly trying to cut the cost for going to the racetrack so everyone have a chance to enjoy this safe, controlled environment and realize that the canyons are very dangerous. Please enjoy our site, and feel free to contact any of our members to see how you can join us at the track! |
